JOB PURPOSE
The Database Analyst is responsible for the design, documentation, maintenance, upgrade, efficiency, security and integrity of the company's databases, along with responsibility of the reporting solutions of the company .

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
The Database Analyst must follow the direction of his/ her immediate Supervisor and operate in accordance with the Companys Procedure, Policies, HSE Standards and Quality Management System. The operational responsibilities of this position include:
Database design and development to meet user/project
requirements.
Diagnose and address Operational Data Requests
Responsible for ad-hoc reporting requests
Responsible for new report development, including
requirements gathering, troubleshooting, testing, and end-user
communication
Managing database access, security/integrity and backup
procedures.
Testing and modifying databases to ensure that they operate
reliably.
Designing and implementing maintenance procedures to ensure
optimal performance.
Writing reports, documentation and operating manuals.
Providing user training, support and feedback.
Developing and implementing disaster recovery plans.
Maintaining professional and technical knowledge by attending
educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing
personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in
professional societies.
Identifying redundant data and regular clean-up of the
same.
